I like doing a bit of PSK-31, mainly using a Netbook PC, the Fldigi software suite etc, but that’s in the comfort of my own home :-)

Going Portable/Mobile etc is more fun! So....I setup my NUE-PSK Modem, with Icom 703+ and Yaesu 1802M Radios, aboard my Honda XLV650 TransAlp Dual Sport motorcycle. The HF antenna is home made, using a Buddipole coil (what else?)

So, first morning 7/9/09 2100z, I setup and tune around 20 metres, some very weak signals on the band. KH6MB appears on the screen! Did not work him, but could also hear a ZL station, too. Looks like my setup is going to be a success. I now have to update my NUE-PSK firmware, as I have an old version. The newest version even runs RTTY too :-)
